BS Player Tutorial
This is just a rough draft so there will only be one pic. I will try to get more pics up as soon as possible.
BS player has the option of taking screen caps, if you don’t know which button to press go down to the text under the pic on this page. When you take a screen cap the pic will save in JGP format in the folder called Webtech and then BS player. These folders will probably be in the folder Programs. If the pics come out with a green tint or scrambled you are going to have to change it from YV12 formats to YUY2 formats. To do this click on the video screen. Go to options and then preferences or you can press Ctrl+P. Make sure you are in the General section and you should see the option to change the formats. Here you can also set the name of each screen cap (see the pic below for various options). Just go to the Capture file name format. I like to have %F - %A2 this gives each cap the file name and numbers it. You cannot have it only give the cap the file name because it will only be able to take one cap. Just play with the options and see what works for you
Basic Commands
For basic commands and control open a file with BS player. Then right click on the video screen. Go to options and then preferences or you can press Ctrl+P and then to Key definitions and WinLIRC. A whole list of applications and there key commands will appear. Look at the upper right side at Assigned key/mouse button, under it there are 2 places to enter with key commands you want each application. I recommend you leave the mouse alone.
Playing Everything with BS Player
You can go to file types and set which file formats you would like to set BS Player as the default opener. This way files will be opened with BS player and you will no longer have to go to Open With or BS player Enque.
